How did you come to work at Inverse-Square?
Some years ago I started looking for companies in Indianapolis that let you bring your dog to work. When I found Inverse-Square I followed them on social channels and about the same time I decided to leave my last job, Inverse-Square posted a position for a sales rep. It was destiny!
The dogs and the swag are definitely a bonus, but if you weren’t bringing your awesome sales and business development skills to Team Awesome, what other career would you like to be in?
A Detective. I serve on the board of directors at Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana and I do a radio segment on 100.9 every Monday morning at 7:30.
Well that’s impressive! So when you’re not solving crimes and introducing organizations to the benefits of custom software solutions, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Go on adventures with my fiancee Erik and Charlie, and read true crime books.
And at work, what has been your favorite project so far?
I have loved all of them. I don’t get a deep dive like the developers do, I just focus more on the customer relationship and one of the reasons I chose Inverse-Square is because I get to work with so many different types of people and companies.
We definitely love that you love all of them! That said, since you love what you do, where would you like to see yourself in five years?
Ask me in four. I’ve found that everything has gone differently than I planned and I’m so happy for that! I feel like I’m right where I need to be now and if I keep making the right decisions and moving in the right direction I’ll be exactly wherever it is I need to be in five years.
