Special Olympics Indiana Case Study

volunteer management software

Founded in 1969, Special Olympics Indiana (SOI) is part of the global Special Olympics movement; growing to more than 16,000 athletes and partners in virtually every county throughout the state with the support of nearly 10,000 volunteers.

To support the organization and ensure volunteer compliance, the volunteers’ data including background check information and their training monitoring had to be managed correctly and efficiently. After years of using time-consuming manual processes, paper applications, and spreadsheets, SOI turned to Inverse-Square for a custom solution.
